This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused Product Developer with strong experience in sportswear, activewear and athleisure, working across both men’s and women’s apparel collections.

  • Work closely with the design team to ensure product concepts are accurately developed and delivered to the required standards.
  • Coordinate development timelines, critical paths, technical packs and supplier submissions.
  • Liaise with overseas factories and suppliers to manage sampling, production requirements and delivery schedules.
  • Oversee garment fit, fabric development, construction details and product specifications.
  • Attend fit sessions, review samples and provide feedback throughout the development process.
  • Manage approvals for lab dips, print strike-offs, embroidery and pre-production samples.
  • Support supplier allocation, product costings and pricing discussions.
  • Ensure trims, labels and production components meet brand requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to manage multiple seasons and product collections simultaneously.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in apparel product development within sportswear, activewear or athleisure.
  • Proven experience working across both men and women’s apparel.
  • Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, pattern cutting, fit and fabric development.
  • Experience working with technical fabrics and performance garment construction.
  • Previous experience managing suppliers and factories based in the Far East.
  • Good understanding of wholesale business operations and product development processes.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, commercially focused approach.
  • Experience in sports accessories development would be advantageous.

This role would suit an experienced Product Developer with a strong technical background and a passion for sportswear, looking to contribute to the development of collections for an internationally recognised brand.
