We are recruiting for an experienced Reconciliation Clerk to join a global business behind some of the world’s most recognisable brands.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in chargebacks, reconciliation and invoice disputes to take ownership of customer invoice submissions and disputes from investigation through to resolution.

Working across customer portals and EDI systems, you’ll ensure invoices are submitted accurately, investigate deductions and chargebacks, gather supporting evidence and help recover outstanding funds.

The Role

As Reconciliation Clerk, you will:

• Upload customer invoices to portals and EDI systems accurately and to specification.
• Validate invoice information before submission.
• Track invoice acceptances, rejections and processing status.
• Investigate deductions, chargebacks and disputed invoices to identify root causes.
• Gather supporting evidence and build cases for disputed charges.
• Submit and manage disputes through customer portals and dispute management systems.
• Maintain accurate dispute and reconciliation records.
• Produce weekly reports covering outstanding chargebacks, resolved disputes, recovery values and upload performance.
• Follow disputes through to resolution and support the recovery of outstanding funds.

About You

To succeed as a Reconciliation Clerk, you will ideally have:

• Previous chargeback and reconciliation experience within an administrative, finance or operations environment.
• Experience investigating invoice discrepancies, deductions or disputes.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence working across customer portals, systems and transactional data.
• A proactive and tenacious approach to resolving outstanding issues.
